Does anyone actually use O2 shops?
The one near me seems empty everytime I drive by!
Does O2 have much market share and popularity out there?

I think just about all one network based Mobile Phone shops are the same mate. There is a MASSIVE vodafone shop on Buchanan street in glasgow and it is pretty much always empty. I think all the individual networks seem to do the majority of their business online now as do a lot of other stores now. Places like the Carphone Warehouse however it seems to be a bit different since obviously they offer a bit of everything.

Better deals on the o2 website so seems a bit silly to sign up to a new contract in store.i only go in to have a hands on with a new phone

I work for o2 retail, some days can be slow but the business is certainly there

Hmm, the web does seem to undercut the stores, so I can't see where they get there business?!

Simply because a lot of people still have no access/ no interest/ no confidence in the web and stick to retail stores.

I got my last Phone from an O2 Shop, got a better deal than on the Web plus instantly had the Phone. It was at an outlet centre BTW and is always busy.
