O2, Sky or BE?

Neither of them are fibre. It's just a marketing term.

See if you can get Sky FTTC.

Yes as far as I know it is not true fibre in most areas, as they use the normal copper wire to your house.

Be for sure
Who are BE? Kind of wish I had looked at all my options first, though I always seem to be overcome and panic buy in these situations. :D
Glad to be out of BT though, give them credit they let us out of the contract early as they clearly were not providing what they said. Also funny how when I rang to cancel this morning and get my MAC code, they offered to reduce it to £17 from £36. Lol Robbing gits. Still they could not compete with the Sky price of £10 for the first six months and £22 there after. (Figures rounded down as I do not have the details to hand, though the £'s are right.)

the issue i have with fiber optics is virgin still do 100meg bb and even if capped/throttled u still get 50meg which is still a lot faster then anything from sky/bt.....

I've only experienced BE of the options, but can't speak highly enough of them. I sync at 23Mb. They do seem to have put prices up, but I have a historic rate of ~£23 combining their landline with free evening & weekend calls and the Unlimited internet package.
