o2 slow for anyone else?

Hey guys,

Noticed my o2 has been slow all week, really started to annoy me. Just ran a speedtest and get a download rate of just over 1mbps. Should be on at least 4 normally

Was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing issues? And it's not just me

Mine has been fine, could be a local issue, your exchange or problem with your line?

Mines been rubbish for atleast a few weeks now. Post above regarding random line drops has been happening too.

You need to give a bit more information. Is it O2 Home Access, or the LLU offerings? What speed does your modem say it's connected at?

The O2 forums have many threads regarding slowdowns on Access at this time.

There are also many complaining of constant drops in connection on Access too. Some O2 members are going as far to say that it looks like O2 Access is simply "falling apart at the seams". :eek:

O2 themselves appear to claim they are aware of some issues and are working hard to deal with them.

Access is definately slower than usual. I have been using the net all day and it was even slow at 9am. Maybe 2mb. I was thinking o2 were actually going to traffic management but no, pings are still garbage.

Currently it's so slow i cannot watch YouTube. I need to post on a forum while a 2 minute video loads.
