O2 to SKY ISP?

I'm moving house soon so will be having to move my ISP, BT line, SKY tv etc.

I noticed a couple of people here rate Sky internet but my O2 has been quite good too with British based customer support and the network is BE.
Also my O2 is not capped as it is an old package and not traffic managed so do you think there is any reason to try Sky or perhaps best to stick with O2/BE?

Is there something particularly good about Sky that I should be aware of?

Cheers.

O2 might count the house you move to as a new order so you won't be on the old package anymore which might mean usage caps etc?

As long as you get Sky LLU then you're on to a winner, truly unlimited etc. I can't fault it.

As above, if you can get Sky LLU then you can not get any better. Especially if it is a Fibre product! (FTTC or FTTP)

Ah that's a point worth noting as I would not take the new O2 packages due to the traffic management in all but the top package.
Actually just checked and I would get the internet free for 6 months with Sky as I would be adding Sky Talk and line rental.

OK I think I'm sold thanks both of you.

They will likely move you to the new package, I had to move from them to Be* because of a similar issue. Within the hour of changing me to their new package, I was dropped from 13 meg sync to 8.6. Ended up swapping to Be* (though the same company, of course) and I'm getting my full 13 again.

Their new packages are apparently unlimited but are capped at 100gig I think?

Also, about Sky, that's a good deal you're getting there, Sky broadband is pretty reliable too.
