This my story,i was with nildram and i started to get bad pings while gaming from 30 to 50 + so with bt telling me its nildram and nildram telling me its bt i thought i would try o2,been on it 2 weeks and its worse with slow speeds after 5pm and game pings of 150 +

So now ive gone with virgin 50meg so i just hope i can get back to some low pinging fraging, anybody had any trouble with 50 meg and gaming online?

Provided it was O2's LLU offerings, if you were having a latency issue with both ISPs I'd suggest it was an issue with your own kit than anything else.

Before i changed to o2 i replaced all my adsl cables i.e phoneline to router and router to pc and still nothing changed and i got a free wireless router from o2,i have a feeling that bt had a part to play in it tbh.

So it wasn't O2 LLU. Still unlikely BT had anything to do with it; O2's IPStream operation is oversubscribed and you left Tiscali, so out of the frying pan...

Well i left tiscali and went to o2 and it doubled my download and increase my upload by 10 fold.

My ping is around 15-30 for games so I cant complain.

Obviously there are people that have it better than me but im happy with them.

been there done it, its o2 over subscribing the service, screws you up with pings etc and all you get from them is no sodding use.

had 2 calls since i joined last year saying the issue had been fixed when it clearly hadn't been.

as for the chats i've had with them, they either dont make notes of anything u say to them or they can't read.

only interested in getting your money not providing a decent service.
