Hey All,

Does this count when texting from abroad? I am currently in the USA and used my 1000 free texts as each message sent takes 4 of my free ones, i have an unlimited bolt on though - i did phone o2 who said it would still be free as i have unlimited... however i am not convinced by this.

does anyone here know?

i was in turkey a couple of weeks ago..

i sent a few texts, saw my bill yesterday and i didnt get charged for it. it came out my free allowance.

and it was listed as a "non-eu" country..

But he's asking whether it will come out of his unlimited allowance, not whether it comes out of his normal allowance (1000 per month).

McDaniel: T&Cs say that the unlimited text bolt-on only includes UK texts so there's a chance you might get stung if you keep sending more texts. However, just try sending a couple and see whether it comes up as unbilled charges - if it doesn't, then I guess you could quite safely continue to send texts.

Bill finally updated, it seems they do charge after your free text allowance, stupid o2 customer service women lied to me then :(:(

Oh well will be back in the UK in 3 days! :)

cheers all
