O2 very slow today?

I'm getting 0.5mb and ping is upto 175ms, is anyone else getting slowdown in the Stoke area (LLU).

Gloucester Area is OK, 22ms Ping and 10.8MBytes/sec (flat out for my line)..

It looks like something is up as someone on another forum is reporting the same thing in the Stoke area at least.

yep all day mine has been slow

downloading the windows 7 RC at 127KB/s, ping is 250ms

It's a little slower for me but not massively so and pings seem fine.

Pings are high here, speed isn't noticeably different but im not downloading or anything today.

EDIT: Perhaps it is slow! usually im on about 12mbit.

ahh thats better, back to downloading at 1.2MB/s

downloading is ok but my browsing is a bit sluggish could be dns issues but then again im using opendns

my download speed is crap again tonight, taken from a speedtest :

Download Speed: 802 kbps (100.3 KB/sec) Upload Speed: 1044 kbps (130.5 KB/sec)

My connection speeds are normal but starting this afternoon downloading from any of the main file hosting sites has been awful, usually I get 400-500 KB/sec but today it's been more like 50-100KB/sec. I did notice web some web pages were slow to open.

I ran speedtest.net and that showed that it was working normally,I hope things sort themselves out as this is just how BT went before I had to ditch them.

hmm turns out it was a false alarm for me, i was ready to call customer support aswell

i am now downloading crysis warhead off of steam at 1.2MB/s so it must be a problem with the speedtest server

edit : nope its gone back down again, max im getting is 320KB/s :/

I too am having random speeds web browsing at times is painfully slow not with o2 but be but they use the same system anyway.
