O2 Wireless Box II : Can it be tweaked at all?

Posting this more out of curiosity than anything else. Is it possible to "tweak" an O2 Wireless Box II?.

Most speedtests I carry out hover around the 14Mbps mark, my line is allegedly capable of @19Mbps. Just wondering if its possible to squeeze a bit more speed out of it?. Here are my stats, screenie taken just now :-

I also have a Netgear DG834 v3 sat here doing nothing, would it be an idea to give that a try, is it a better router than the Wireless Box II?.

You are connected at almost 19mb there mate. The speed tests are usually very inaccurate.

Combination of congestion, TCP\IP overhead and source bandwidth, my O2 connection syncs at 20mbit but most of the time downloads top out at ~17mbit.

You can install the Thomson firmware over the top of the o2 branded stuff. It doesn't really have many (any?) more options though.
