O2 Wireless Box IV Wifi Problems

Hi guys,

The Wifi on my O2 Wireless Box IV has started playing up.

80% of the time, devices will simply not connect to it. You can see the network, but connecting times out despite using the correct key. Sometimes it does actually work, but there is no internet connectivity. On the rarest of occasions it works, and there is internet, but its mind numbingly slow.

The wired part of the box continues to work perfectly without issues at full speed.

Any ideas?

Any firmware upgrades available? Seems to fix most issues with routers I find

Tried swapping the wireless channels?

Yeah. Do a WiFi survey to find out which channel is least used. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/2113...ter-channel-to-optimize-your-wireless-signal/

I was having similar problems with WiFi, until I found out there were 8 other routers in the vicinity also using channel 11.

I was about to post this. Having exactly the same issues.

I can't even log into the router from the local webpage. Can you Fox?
