Just finished watching A Life Less Ordinary and one of the closing credits songs was, Oasis, Round Are Way.

Which made me remember the song and vaguely recall that the only copy I ever used to have was recorded by me on tape from an Oasis concert broadcast by Radio 1, I can't remember if it was at Knebworth or a Manchester concert.

Was this track ever on an album as I can only find it listed on the Wonderwall single?
Why oh why haven't Oasis released the Knebworth concert on CD or DVD? :(

The Masterplan was the b-sides collection but it isn't on there. It probably made it onto one of the obscure Japanese releases of Morning Glory or something though. You could always get the Wonderwall single, they all got rereleased on the Big Brother label a few years back and I don't think they're that hard to track down.

I was at Knebworth and they had tons of cameras - even a helicopter filming it! Unfortunately they had various technical problems with the sound and I suspect maybe that has something to do with it. I also have to say it wasn't their best show by a long, long way (in terms of the music) and I think maybe that was also a reason.

Having said that, I haven't "followed" Oasis for years now and maybe somebody else will have a more concrete answer.

The copy I recorded from the radio was perfectly listenable to for a live performance. I only realised that I'd thrown it away after hearing Round Are Way in the films credits. (which might not even have been Knebworth, it might have been one of the Maine Road gigs Radio 1 aired). Not that I've even owned a tape deck for flippin years :)

Just buy the Wonderwall single if you want a good quality recording.

IIRC it was also played at an Earl's Court gig Oasis (sans Liam) did circa 1996-7, I taped it off the BBC so I should still have the video stashed in a cupboard somewhere. There was some very good acoustic versions done at that show like Talk Tonight, in fact it was that gig that made me rush out and buy a load of singles just for the B-sides.

Its on the MTV unplugged video but I don't know if the album got released.
There's a bootleg copy of the Oasis MTV gig but Liam decided to take the night off so it's Noel singing.
