ob graphics won't boot, random crashes, random ssd missing

Updated the ob intel graphics drivers on my Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 & now the pc will not boot at all using the ob graphics output. When connected to my Radeon HD5850 Extreme it boots fine. If I then switch the dvi cable back to the o/b graphics it also works fine once booted.

How do I find out if the problem is related to the intel drivers/i5 2500k cpu graphics or the mb?

Also when running very randomly the pc crashes & upon re-boot forgets it has an Agility 3 60gb SSD installed as the o/s drive, if I leave the pc switched off for 15 minutes & re-boot I have to go into the bios & then re-select the SSD to boot from & it all works fine again until the next time.

I have cleaned the whole machine of dust ect including all the components as I am thinking this maybe an overheating problem.

The FC5 controller says temp around the in fans is approx 77f & 82f around the exhaust fans.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this? the mb, ssd or overheating.
 
have you uninstalled the updated drivers ?

try booting into safe mode and see if you still have the same problem.
 
Don't know how to roll the updated drivers back.

Cannot boot into safe mode via o/b gpu as no output.
Will try running pc all ady in safe mode via own gpu
 
to rollback go into control panel , then go into device manager, should hopefully show the onboard graphics and if you go into properties on that, click on the driver tab and iirc one of the options is to roll back drivers.

The Roll Back Driver option is greyed out
 
which seems to imply it has no drivers to roll back to.

check the asrock web site for an older version of the drivers.

have you checked for bios updates for the mobo ?
 
I updated to the latest v1.70 m/b bios last year & they have no newer ones since.

Going to try & install older graphics drivers from their website to see if that works, as suggested by mp260767
 
Trouble is I'm not sure what driver to download & install?

Would this be the right one for the intel graphics?

Installed this from the Asrock website
5/4/2011 Windows® 7 64bit 62.85MB VGA driver ver:15.22.2.64.2372

& the graphics is all working 100% now.

Just need to dort out the random crashing & odd missing SSD.

I never get the SSD missing on the same board (Two M4 128GB). Have you checked the SATA cables?

Hmm, Agility... Maybe something to do with the drive.
