Hey folks.

Just a quick bit of advice needed. I’m in the market for an OBD scanner, under £200 if possible.

Been looking at the Autel Maxidiag 808 Pro and the Topdon 600s.

Want as many functions as possible but must have abs and epb functions.

Anyone got any experiences of the above or other suggestions. Also want lifetime free updates which the above 2 seem to include.

Thank you. Mike.

The Xtool A30M is fantastic. I've bought it a few months ago and it runs the exact same software as the Autel devices (Autel own Xtool). It's a bluetooth module that links up to your phone so it's really convenient to keep in the glovebox. The functions is has are amazing also. I've used it for countless things on my Merc, BMW and a friend's Audi, Toyota, Mini and Jaguar.

It has ABS bleeding/steering angle sensor resets/parking brake/actuation control of pretty much most motors on the car etc etc. Really powerful tool for not a lot of cash.

Xtool A30M looks interesting, although I saw a review where someone was getting a licence exception after one year. Worth looking into that a little deeper, otherwise it looks pretty amazing value for money.

icarsoft do a variety of devices that may be worth a look.
