I've got some diagnostics to do on a car, any recommendations for a decent but affordable OBDII reader that can read live data?

I've seen a couple of them floating around in the normal handheld style. But also came across this: http://www.obdautodoctor.com/

Any suggestions?

I've used an eBay bluetooth reader with Torquepro on my phone and it's done everything i've needed on non posh cars so far. I had logged my old subaru with specific software (romraider) which does refresh a lot faster as i was using a odbII -> USB cable and i imagine using a more native protocol with the ECU.

I think I paid £8 for my Bluetooth OBDII reader and about £3 for the TorquePro app

Gives me lots of live information (the specifics will of course depend on your ECU)

Can clear fault codes with it too which is really useful
