Object-Relational Database Schema

Does anyone have any good tutorials/sites on creating object-relational databases. I know very little about the Object orientated approach to databases so any help would be great. Have to create object-relational database but really confused as im not sure the OO approach.

Go look at ponyorm, there's a visual schema designer there you can play with. It spits out python code and SQL
