HDR + Anti-Aliasing support for The Elder Scrolls Oblivion with 6.10
Users no longer need to download and install the Chuck patch - the Direct3D driver now includes native support for High Dynamic Range and Anti-Aliasing with The Elder Scrolls Oblivion.

not for me :(

anyone got both hdr and aa to work together?

Noooooo! You must set HDR in the ingame options and AA in the graphics drivers. That will work if you've done it right.

graphics drivers? you mean force AA in the Direct3D settings of my cat drivers, in my case use ATT to force AA. that cant be a propper fix surly

ATI's Catalyst Control Center is evil! :)

so yeah as I dont use CCC I would force it in ATT, that is no way a fix.

thanks for your replies guys

It is a proper fix because to make it actually work in the ingame settings it would have to be patched by bethesda which would then mean that nvidia users would think they could use HDR+AA because it isn't stopping them from enabling it in game and havoc would ensue as many a game wouldn't even start.

So ya, it is a fix. And yea, CCC is evil. ATT for the win.

If you want that kind of fix then email Bethesda, because it's them you should be rolling your eyes at and not ATI as ATI have absolutely no say in how Oblivion's settings actually work. ;) ATI have provided you the means to do HDR+AA and have now officially slipstreamed it into a driver, now it's just up to you to do it right. :p
