oblivion AA + HDR

I cant get this working I’ve got 6.5 cats and the patch but nothing seems to work. AA works when i bring up the inventory e.g looking at my character. But when I switch back the world has no AA Any one know what I’m doing wrong?

i dont know if this is completely correct, but im sure i have read somewhere that you can't have both AA and HDR enabled at the same time

you can with the chuck patch. you enable AA it in the cats to force it.

You don't enable AA and HDR in the game. You have to enable AA in CCC(not application controlled) and then run oblivion with only HDR enabled. That way you get trhe full affects.

bit off topic - but how do I get more detail in things further away? the textures are really poor when I look at like hills etc, i remember reading somewhere something and LOD 3?

Oblivion Mod Wiki Recommended Graphical Enhancements

I'd suggest the latter three mods on that page if you want to improve the graphics for Oblivion's outside environment.

I've not been able to get AA and HDR working either
I'll have another go tonight and see if I have any luck with the new 6.5s.
I also recently reinstalled Xp so that may help.
