Depends. It's a very "dumbed down" RPG, especially compared to the predecessor Morrowind. But I enjoy it a lot. I'm not much of a gamer, so I like the fact that it's very easy to travel to places (fast travel) and easy to fight/level up.
I'm enjoying it a lot more with the mods though. It's a lot more balanced and difficult.
Very small difference but I can spot the textures on the floors etc. they no longer seem to blur into one another they just seem sharper because of this but in places it looked like their was just two textures over each other.
Years of studying 3d renders make it easier to spot as I've already trained myself to notice only slight differences.
The differences are fairly obvious to me. Everything looks a lot sharper around the edges. Looks a lot better IMO but if it's just applied to the immediate surroundings it will look at bit wierd at that transition at distance.
The difference in the screenies is quite noticeable and substantial to me but whether they'll be noticeable when you're walking round in-game is a different matter
if you look its basically so the rocks etc don't have grass blended into them and they remain on top, so it doesn't just look like someone has smeared mud or green paint over your screen.
