Oblivion GFX Problem

Have 8800gtx with latest WHQL drivers.

Note the pink lines, get green ones and other colours too.

no overclocks either on anything.

doesnt seem to do it on any other games either, and benchmarks are fine too. This happens mods or no mods.

Try re-installing looks like a texture error. But it could be artifacts not sure.

weird. im getting strange graphical errors in oblivion as well (see screenshots)

using mobile drivers
XTreme-G MobileForce
Driver Version: 93.71 G3 Windows 2000/XP (32-bit) - based on NVIDIA ForceWare 93.71 WHQL

these images look washed out for some reason

but this one in the same city (cheyindal) is fine hrmm strange could be drivers related problem

I think this is related to the same driver bug which occasionally makes the screen go black. Certainly the one time my 7800GTX did it, a minute later I got the black screen. The jump to greyed-out was very abrupt, and it looked like the HDR lighting had switched off. Does it happen a lot?

without the pink lines those graphics are awesome

Confusion - what graphics mod are you using to make the healthbars etc so small?

that would probably be the "running at a silly resolution" modification... but I could be wrong.

naw.. running it at 800x600 / 1650x1080 makes no difference, it scales the menu bar, which has always annoyed me - the only thing i hate about oblivion is the size of all the windows/frames/bars, i want them back like morrowind!

I had the same problem when using the 97.44 drivers, even using driver cleaner I could'nt solve it, went back to the 97.28 drivers and all is well again

eh?? hrmm ive got BT MOD installed on mine. Heck ive installed about 20 mods sometimes im not sure if they are all working in the game lol.
