oblivion not patching.

Just been given oblivion and ive installed it, downloaded the latest patch (v1.2.0146)

I get an error msg:

Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match.

Any ideas?

Once i patched it i can try and figure out which gfx mods i need and any other mods to install.

Are you downloading the correct patch for your game? There are two, for the US version of the game and for the UK/Europe.

OBLIVION UK/EUROPEAN/AUSTRALIAN PATCH v1.2.0416
This patch is for UK/Europe/Australia (English versions only).

and

OBLIVION PATCH v1.2.0416
This patch is for North American (English) versions only

You want the second patch listed under Oblivion.
