On my x1800xt PE i am running the game at 1280x1024 with HDR as the difference between that and bloom is fairly high actually

In lush areas like this one the Fps ran from 32-42 fps usually around the 36 mark! This was when running in HDR mode

In more common areas with less foiliage you can see the frame rate running at 45 to 60 fps dependent on lens flare, foiliage etc again this picture was taken in HDR mode *Note the effect of the sun around the trees as this is where the noticable difference between HDR and bloom become apparent*

In the final picture this is in bloom mode with 6xAA and basically people who say the effect is the same it isnt, it is even more apparent at dusk, however the game runs around the same speed most of the time however it tends to be faster at other points. *Note the effect of the sun around the trees as this is where the noticable difference between HDR and bloom become apparent*

Indoor areas like dungeons run at a very VERY smooth frame rate, well over the 100's at times! these sections are when the game runs at its best and it was practically always over 75 in these sections.

Everything was obviously ran at the highest settings and the gain/loss between HDR and Bloom+AA was really negligable, all in all the HDR does look much MUCH nicer in sections so I have decided to run in that mode!

Any other guys wanting to comment on their results feel free!

cool, i've only just posted a question in the "oblivion PC or 360" thread asking how the PC draw distance compares to the 360 version, would be nice to hear you opinion also.

Get the PC version as your spec is good enough to run it really well! :D my bros pc cant run it so he bought the 360 version.....not like im gonna let him near my pc for a while ;P lol!

Anyways! our hdtv is running the game at 720p and it does look good but.....its slightly more blurred, due to the res and thus looks crisper on my pc! :D also the controls on the PC id say are a bit better as the mouse is clearly your main weapon of choice.

Performance wise i get the words "loading Area....." coming up however no pauses not even for a split second whereas the xbox does have it pause slightly and its annoying as it loads areas very frequently. PErformance wise you will find that in general a top spec pc WILL perform better over the 360!

Yeah also there appears to be a bug in self shadowing where it gives a grated look over creatures...so i turned that off but thats it!

PC Spec below is running the game fully maxed at 1280x1024 as HDR is a lot better than Bloom IMO

Thats my take on the subject so far......

P.S cant believe my thread got taken up by everyone lol!
