Oblivion problem :(

Just reinstalled this bad boy again, and after about 5 mins of play mykeyboard and mouse freeze?

Doesnt happen in CSS or STALKER, just this.

I can see my fatuige recharging so i know the game hasnt frozen.

Any help would be great,

Post your specs up - lets see whats what.

What patching level have you got it at?

Theres a few official patches and a glut of unofficial - i've had great *fun* patching and modding Oblivion, piling in Knights of the Nine expansion, more mods, then Shivering Isles and further mods - seems to work OK, pretty much finished all the interesting stuff now.

Well worth spending time getting it to work though!!

FIXED!!!

Something to do with joysticks being enabled =/

Now to work out how to have AA and HDR on, is it possible??

It is. Enable HDR in game and aa in the nvidia control panel

I was just about to mention the joystick thing.. happened to me. You can disable it in the config file or just pull out your joystick when you want to play.

Enable HDR in the game and Force AA thru the Nvidia Control Panel but perhaps it is only possible with 8x00 cards and not with 7x00 cards?

Geforce 7 cards cant do HDR + AA together
