Got annother 360 the other week after being without one for a few months.

Got to say I love it more than ever. GOW and guitar hero are amazing games!
Without a doubt the best console I have ever owned, finally something has pipped the dreamcast! :-)

I have to say though, I quite fancy doing annother game on ablivion, I put hours into doing the arena and the dark brotherhood, but never started the main quest, or did much of any of the rest. My player was a light armor longswordsman, so I am considering playing it through again as more of a mage, or a huge scrapper with heavy armor, what charachter types have you lot enjoyed playing it with?

Also, has anything happened in terms of updates or add ons since september last year, if so are they any good?

They released a new patch to improve visuals and load times.

They also released a new expansion pack, The Something Isle :p

thats good, load times were a pain in the bum, but to be expected being so huge! Graphics were pretty amazing already tbh so better still can't be bad!

Anyone got any info on add ons worth buying, or should I do the main quest before looking at anything else. Never did any of the main quest at all last time, pretty strange I know! :-)

I had a couple of add ons before, if I buy these again will I be charged?

If you are on the same live account I believe that they can be downloaded for free (The ones you already had) but I have doubts as you said it was a different console, I am not sure how it works.

The newest addon is an additional quest chain, so it might be a good idea to leave it until you have done loads of the original game.

Yea, I might actually do the quest first since I never started it last time.

I have a different 360, but the same live account.

I've clocked up over 200 hours with my blade wielding Breton Battlemage :)

Always used light armour, it's just as good as heavy but without the weight penalties. Especially once you get the amourer skill up and can repair your gear to 125%

Conjuring wee beasties to help out is one of the strongest weapons you can have. When you have multiple enemies as they always target your summoned monster first allowing you time to pick them off.

Always increase your luck stat when you level up and try and get some enchanted gear which boosts your luck soon as possible, it effects everything!

battlemage sounds interesting. I was trying to go down that route with my charachter, but I picked the wrong starting bits for magic really. Summoning sounds really cool! Thanks for the tips!

I found the RedGuard the best all round choice, though if i restarted I might go more for the bigger characters, less brains more braun :D
