Oblivion : Sins of the Father Quest

Hi all

In this Quest, i have the sword that you get from killing the Cheiftain

i have the GOTY edition (no expansions installed), so im not sure what the best course to take from here

please help

I dont think you need any of the expansions to complete it. I has been a long time since I played it. Have a read maybe it will help.

Hi yeah i have read all through that, but i am just not sure if i should keep it/hand it over etc

im at level 12, and that sword is 18, whereas my Dwafern long sword is only 13
, so im making good use of it for now

I usually traded it for the shield, which is a pretty good one, unlike the sword.

urgh, now going to bed, i get offered to join the "Dark Brotherhood"
ive read about it, and tbh, i cant be bothered, just want to complete the original quest !

do i join it and come out of it later?
or simply just forget it?

Don't do what they ask and that's the end of it. It stays as a quest, bu there's no comeback and they won't contact you again.
