I've just got to the part where you have to rescue the priest guy and take him to Weynon Priory. He said he would followed me, so I walked off and he was behind me. I got on my horse and he went mental and attacked me!
I re-loaded the game and this happened three times, wtf is going on?!

it's not your horse then, they'd only attack you if you got on the wrong horse which is not owned by you

therefore i conclude that is what happened

if you cant find your horse i for see a long walk for you, just like i had to endure

hmm, the guy at weynon priory told me to take his horse, guess i just took the wrong one in the first place then... pft :p
Theres one round the back under the arch in the stables. Make sure the crosshair doesnt turn red, because that is a horse that is not allowed to be taken by you :)

IIRC the correct horse will show as "Prior Mabel's Paint horse" when you put your cursor over it.

I have pretty much given up on horses as I hated the way when travelling and meeting a beasty it would attack the horse before I had a chance to get off and deal with it. I now just use Shadowmere with the saddlebag mod as portable storage.

LOL that's just what I did - it even has his name when you mouse-over the nag.........I bet we're not the only ones who have done that ;)

Lol i did that, but it was later on in the game, about 15 random peole walking around, i got on the horse and they all started attacking me :(

Saddlebags is really great... but be carefull, once you find the right horse you can easily overload it so you can outrun even the slowest of enemies.

Fun though :D

Not as fun as riding into a group of soldiers outside an Oblivion gate and remounting your stolen, the insuing chase as they just know its stolen always goes down well.
