Obscene Phone call

How weird you said that.
When I gig up North people think I'm a Brummie and when I gig down south they think I'm a Scouser.

I'm from near Chesterfield, and once had to help out temporarily at a waste depot at Burslem. I thought they all sounded like Black Country/Scouse halfbreeds.

Couldn't for the life of me work out where the scouse bit came from, considering the geography.

He sounds like some sad geek who has a thing for your daughter but through his sick twisted logic, considers his actions to be the appropriate way to go about showing his affection.

Tell your daughter to be careful, there are some weirdos out there.

It wasn't you was it, calling from within your bedroom fort, high on fairy dust and Guinness stout? :D

On saturday while watching the football I had an obscene phone call which went something like this -

Pervert - Are there any Walls there?
Me - No
Pervert - Are you sure there are no Walls there?
Me - I'm looking at one in front of me, behind and at the sides
A prank call gone wrong, you screwed him right over with that response.

Here's how it should have gone

Pervert - Are there any Walls there?
Me - No
Pervert - Are you sure there are no Walls there?
Me - No
Pervert - Then what keeps your roof up!! LOLOLOLOL *hangs up*

Nah, I'd have emailed her instead.

:D

Wise, keep the father out of the equation, and go for all out one-on-one torment/harassment :D

Seriously though, sounds like a pretty odd thing to happen. At least he apologised though, which is some consolation and probably means he won't do it again. Hopefully.

Report to police asap... they can trace calls made to your mobile, witheld or not.

If the person has withheld their number, then the police (through the nuscience call bureau) can only trace the last call to your phone.

I don't think the OP now needs the call to be traced though..

Bah only the last call?

O2 can trace any call upto 2 weeks ago as they dont show up as witheld on their computers (this was in summer' of 02 so might be longer now)

At least he did not say did you hit my dog...

In which case, you reply 'yes and your wife wasn't that good' or something to that affect. ;)

edit: Yeah I realise where that quote is from before anyone asks. :p :D

Aren't you at all concerned he's trying to contact your daughter?

I trust her to handle it and Daddy to step in if it gets out of hand.
Over christmas I helped out one of my daughters mates with prank calls and went to the police with her (I did start a thread).

QUOTE]

Theres a bloke standing next to me who has gone mad at this post and blurted out the world record for swear words because he was born and bred in Burslem and still lives there after fifty six years. Its not Burslem either, its Boslem or Bursley and they are half breeds.
