I'm trying to identify a film I saw years ago on the sci-fi channel. It was a really cheesy B-movie set in a post-apocalyptic world. Women were the dominant sex and the film was about the men rebelling. There's a bit when they dig up some old weapons (guns, hand grenades, etc.) and fight the women who have just rediscovered gunpowder. And it's resolved when a guy dresses up in a space suit and claims he is "the president" (yes I know it's incredibly strange 
) and he falls in (well, makes) love with the leader of the women. Probably a long shot since this is a very weird film but I have no idea what it's called.
