Hey, anyone on here got any experience working with one of these cases? I'm looking to put my new system into one of these and wondering if it's going to be a relatively easy installation since it's my first build,

Cheers everyone

I bought the 650D to replace my old NZXT Lexa case.
There is loads of room in the case. The space behind the mobo can be a little tight. I had to rearrange the cables several times before I could close the side panel without it bulging outwards but I wouldn't let that put you off.

I even used the SATA dock the other day to wipe a spare drive. Very handy.

Built my setup in a 650D as a 'go-between' but I'm liking it that much I may well keep it in there for a little longer than planned.

The space behind the motherboard looks ok at first glance but because of the amount of options in hiding cables around the back of there it soon becomes VERY cramped.

Some people have commented on the front fan issues but in all honest, when on low-medium the front fan in my 650D does not emit the whining people have complained about? It is certainly not what I would call a silent case but it's not overly loud either with the fans set to medium.

A good solid case all round really but after seeing the white 600T I think I would choose that over the 650D.

W3bbo, out of curiousity why would you chose the white 600t over the 650d? I didn't think there was any changes between the white and black 600's?

I'm still umming and ahhing over which one to get, but if there is an improvement that I've missed with the white 600, I may change my mind, again :P

Mine didn't come with the switch. What am I missing out on by not having the one from redbeard?
If you got the early version of the 650D (like me) then the fan noise is considerable even at its lowest speed.
I got the new fan controller from Redbeard which I fitted at the weekend and it had a dramatic effect. It's much quieter now.

wapcatlet when did you buy your 650D case? i'm looking at ordering mine next week so hopefully I won't have any problems :)

I just prefer the look of the 600t tbh. The 650D is very 'boxy' and the top vent doesn't look 'right' as its not inline with the top panel, rather it is sunk in.

The 600T is also a little wider by the looks of things when I had them side by side.

That said the 650D is a cracking case an you won't be disappointed as despite my preference for the 600T, I'm still very pleased with the 650D. Reviews seem to place the 650D over the 600T too both in terms of quality and performance. I just like the rounded edges of the 600T over the square 650D. It's a personal taste thing - nothing more m8. By most accounts, the 650D is the better product. The 650D is more lian-li where as the 600T is, dare i say it, more akin to Apple like design.

Thanks, thought it might be something like that. The itching sensation for a change is definitely there, and knowing what I'm like I'll have to scratch it sooner rather than later!

Argh what to do. The Ravens keep calling to me too as at the moment my Noctua cooler overhangs the top PCI-E slot, and the bottom one isn't really accessable do the case connections, so if I wanted to go crossfire again i'd have an issue. Shame they look so horrible which really puts me off, but my common sense is telling me they are probably a better case for me.
