I don’t want to act too crazy, but I’m actually enjoying this time. Wish they had given some kind of torch/light spell though.

I didn't think the 3 off hours I played were bad, it just reminded me of Outer Worlds a bit, a bit above average but ultimately I'm probably going to forget everything about it in a week.
Check out the video where they compare it to Oblivion and Skyrim, decades old games.
I completed it via GP and quite enjoyed it. It’s not as bad as the last Dragon Age game, that’s for sure.
Combat could be pretty good once you’ve got the hang of it.
I loved this game, it's a sort of arcadey RPG, stats aren't as in depth but it's good fun to play.
Best bit, if any of your companions annoy you, stand them next to an explosive barrel, shoot it, and chuckle heartily as they ragdoll across the map.

Enjoying it more than I thought. Pretty chilled out, not too involved RPG and it’s quite beautiful at times.
I play on a 50" Mini led TV with 1000nits, with RTX HDR and ray tracing on it looks stunning.

Yup, OLED here, RTX HDR (much better than the inbuilt hdr). It does look fantastic. My only complaint is that it’s a bit dark in some places, wish there was a light spell or torch.
Have just moved to a new area. Obsidian are really great at changing the world, adding even small details for the choices you make and quests you complete. I’m enjoying this every bit as much as I enjoyed Outer Worlds 2. Didn’t expect that.
Agreed. I mean I love BG3, but that game takes a lot more thought at times!

Yeah RTX HDR is far superior, amazing when it's dark and all the fungi start glowing. It's much better in Outer Worlds 2 as well.
I've not really been able to get into TOW2 yet, but that's mostly because there's a FM26 itch that has to be scratched despite the state of it at the moment. But sadly I'm one of "those" FM players that'd play FM27 if it was a .xls file.
