Anyone else do these?

Me and my son (11 years old) did One True Grit (https://www.onetruegrit.com/3km-family-race) earlier in the year and really enjoyed it. We've since run Insane Terrain (http://www.insaneterrainrunning.com...n-day-cambridgeshire-saturday-22nd-june-2019/) the Saturday just gone and have booked into Inflatable 5k (https://www.ukrunningevents.co.uk/inflatable-5k-obstacle-run-norfolk) next month. Unfortunately he's too young for Rough Runner and Tough Mudder. We'll be looking to run some more in the new year and although both happy to run the same ones again I wonder if there are any other options, we're happy to travel an hour+ from Cambridge to get to one.

After chatting to one of my mates about them he's since booked 6 of us into the Winter Wolf run (https://thewolfrun.com/winterwolf/). Really nervous about it due to the distance and extreme cold while swimming but am massively excited about it too. I play footy 3 times a week but will be adding in 2 to 3 jogs a week and some swimming to hopefully get me fit enough for early November.

Was the Winter Wolf last weekend? How was it? Not very wintery if the weather was anything like it was near London!

I did Nuclear Fallout on Saturday which was amazing. I don't much like running but love OCR.

My mate got his Alpha Wolf at the Winter Wolf last weekend, which means he's completed every Wolf run this year. He loves it, he's a big bloke 6'5 and over 20st but manages them without too much issue.

Yeah did it on Saturday. Was pretty awesome. Water was under 5 degrees so pretty cold but generally it wasn't too bad considering time of the year. My group are up for doing alpha wolf next year but I'm in America for the first one. Looks like we'll be doing the 2019 Nuts Challenge 2 x 7k in March and Peterborough Inflatable 5k Zombie run later in the same month with our kids.
