Hey all, this may be an obvious question, but I like to make sure I know everything 100% before buying components etc, but, how can I be sure that the motherboard I may be buying, will fit in my case? or a new case etc? they differ in sizes it seems, especially older ones, so I was just curious as to how you can know if your motherboard will fit into the case or not? Many Thanks to whoever can help :D

Ahh ok Many Thanks, I just wasnt 100% sure, and i'm currently looking for a Motherboard with a couple of IDE controllers on it, when I find one i'll let you know, I was looking at the Asrock but I was hoping for a high quality new Motherboard that supports them also, as I dont feel like buying a new Hard Drive etc straight away, but i've had no luck so far finding one ;( haha :p

Ahhh Thank You :), so with that it'd detect my HDD, and both my DVD and DVDRW Drive? if so thats great, upgrading sounds cheaper and cheaper nowadays :D

Ahhh nice then, although buying a whole new PC really doesnt sound pricey at all anymore, for like 500£ it seems like I could get a great system/a system with huge compatibility for the future, so i'll have to weigh up my options it seems, since SATA2 Hard Drives seem to be a lot faster :p
