p5q delux, q9550 @ 485FSB,
Boots into windows fine. but sometimes... it will randomly either restart or BSOD.
Memory is underclocked while trying to find cpu limit.

CPUV: 1.336 (in cpu-z)
NB: 1.40
SB: 1.42

Any ideas why this generally happends/what it could be down too?

at 1.44 now, 1.46 was the next option (in twos) its now "purple" so asus must think thats over volts?

dont suppose you have any links to where u saw such info?

didnt work...

Does the overclock pass few hours of prime or Orthos, try upping the CPU voltage up a tad more or dropping the overclock a little and see how you get on.

i didnt want to put too many votes though it, i thought 1.35 was pushing it?
no it doesnt, i was just trying to install xp in a VMware, everytime i started that it crashed. downed the clock to 482 and its fine. but anything more and it doesnt like it...

You need to include more information when asking for technical help, hardware, temps, CPU screenshots etc

You also need to run stability tests to help you troubleshoot (prime95, IBT, Memtest etc).

What is the story of your overclock, like what settings did you first change when it was still running at stock and did you work your way upwards slowly?

Have you tried leaving most voltages on auto for the first basic bits of overclocking or did you manually set everything yourself?

1.5v through the Northbridge?

Isn't that a bit high for the P45 Die-Shrunk Nortbridge? :D

Blackwhite suggested that,
what more info do you need that the screenie doesnt give? i dont need help with the ram as its udner clocked, the mobo and cpu are given? temps are less than 50 on stress.
i worked up from scratch but basied on others with the same mb and cpu.

no point in running orthos when it crashs randomly without.

everyone said not to use auto as they put too many volts in...
