I have a Abit IP35 XE Pro, 4 x 2gb sticks of OCZ PC2-8500C5 1066MHZ memory.

I run Xp Pro 64 and have an Asus Silent Square Evo Cpu cooler.

I also have a cooler with 3 fans blowing over my memory (can't remember name), and have 2 very large fans blowing into my very large case, so although I am running on air, I have quite good cooling. If the Uguru interface can be believed, my cpu temp when idle is 26 degrees centigrade.

I am new to OC and have been fiddling with the Abit Uguru OC interface that comes with the mobo.

Could someone with a similar setup give me some advice on settings to try to overclock?

So far, using the Uguru interface, I have got it upto 3042Ghz.

Any advice to a complete OC newbie gratefully accepted.

Have you read through these?

They give you huge amounts of info about how to get it right and not kill anything.

Also, search these forums for IP35 and you will find loads of threads about oc'ing that board

Which is specific to the Abit IP35 Pro board. Yours is not much different being the XE version.
