This might be associated with the motherboard more, but overclocking the CPU is the key factor here.
Ive got a C45-870 (Socket AMD3 770) motherboard from MSi, and AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.7 one thing is bothering me.
My CPU Phenom II X4 965 is overclocked to 3.7ghz, so its not far away from stock.
Ive seen a couple of reviews and peoples opinions that they can achieve good overclocks on this board.
Yet on another forum when I asked about a different issue with this mobo (Fan control, fixed) people stated that having a CPU overclocked on this mobo is a timebomb / fire waiting to happen due to Nikos MOSFETS blowing up or something when overclocking.
Should I be worried that my mobo will start causing instability issues at 3.7ghz or blow up in the worst case scenario ?
