OC GTX 970 G1

Hey guys,

I'm hoping you all can help me overclocking my 970

Anyway. I'm currently running my GTX 970 G1 edition on the following settings using MSI Afterburner:

Core clock (mhz): +150
Memory: +300
Power limit: 110
Voltage: Stock

When running Unigine Valley, on extreme HD settings, it seems that there wasn't much improvement.

OC: score 2690 s FPS: 64.3 Min: 30.5 Max: 125.6
Stock: score 2494 FPS:59.6 Min:29.5 Max:112

To me its not a huge improvement, but I'm not sure as its my first time.
Any ideas where I should be aiming for? I did try:

Core clock (mhz): +150
Memory: +500
Power limit: 110
Voltage: Stock

But these settings became unstable. Benchmark crashed.

EDIT: Temps were around 60-65c

Sounds about right, usually when overclocking GPUs you'll see a 5-15FPS gains depending on how heavy an overclock is.

It might not look much and you might not even notice it, but it's there as free performance gains
