hello 8 Pack
Please can you give me some pointers to get started overclocking my dual GTX780 sli with evga precision ?
the only experience of overclocking gpu i have is from overclocking the dual gtx680m sli that i have on my m18x, and that i have done with msi afterburner and it seemed much simpler .
their are only 2 movable sliders core clock and memory clock.
core clock only went upto +135 so i maxed that to +135
and the memory clock was was told to start at +400mhz and keep moving up in 50mhz lumps till crash and then go back 100mhz .
doing this gave me a stable overclock of +135 core clock and +650mhz memory
... trouble is evga appears to work differently
their is a "gpu clock offset" and that go's up to +1001mhz ..so i haave know idea where to start with this one and how much to move up by or weather to start adjusting this one first or after the "mem clock offset"
and that brings me to the next slider called "mem clock offset" this go's up to +2000mhz
again where do i start with this one and what amount do i keep increasing by ...and do i do this one first or after the one above ?
also it has the "power target" and "temp target" i have no clue how to use this ? please help lol
and fan curve .. i can see how to set this but im not sure what to set it to ... iv seen some people saying the have matched it to the "temp target" (honestly im not understanding that ) i mean what part of the fan chart are they matching ?? the fans at 100% should match the Temp target ? or at 50% ??? or somewhere ells
my gtx780 are not superclocked they are just standard cards ..
thx for any help
