My OC has started to fail. Had it stable for almost a year.
Couple of weeks ago I bought a new SSD and did an install afresh of 8.1 RTM. Before I has 8 then upgraded to 8.1 from the store. I have not really used the machine since then.
I'm getting 101 errors which I know typically means too little vcore, first in BF4, then just as I try to start prime95. I've dropped the multi to 38 from 39 to give me 4750MHz and ran prime. It ran fine for 20mins, so stopped it and took a break.
What I noticed when I came back to my PC was that it was a sleep! Apparently my power plan is balanced rather than high performance. Any one know if this could cause a problem?
In my bios I've set the strap to 125 so I know it will not do any stepping etc..so maybe it is.
