I hope you all had a great xmas. I have a couple of questions, hopefully you can help.

So I have a 290x under water. I have been overclocking it with CCC and managed to get to its limit on stock voltage. It was roughly 1150 and 1350 or so on mem.

I tested in Heaven and began to see artefacts and crashes at anything above.

So I dloaded Trixx and run it on top of CCC, everything works fine, any adjustments in Trixx then show up in GPUZ and CCC :).

Trixx I wanted to use for voltage control. The setting is called VDDC offset and goes from 0 to 200. Is this because the voltage of the card is dynamic ??

Also how do i best work out what voltage i have increased it by and whats a safe voltage to go up to on these cards ?

My current settings are 1200 clock 1500 mem with 150 on vddc offset. It seems stable and gave me a heaven score of 1536 on a 8350 at 4.3.

Is that any good ???

Thanks for the help I have learnt a lot about clocking etc today and so any extra help understanding the changes ive made would be great

Cheers
