Looking to get into OC'ing my current setup, and I've currently got 4 x 1GB Geil PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2.

Is it a better idea when OC'ing to have 2 x 2gb of memory? As I'm having problems Oc'ing my current memor, keep getting blue screen memory dumps

Yeah ran it at 5-5-5-15 instead of its actual timings, memory is 2.1v so had it running on various voltages between 2.0v and 2.2v and also increased the NB by 0.1v but still got the memory dump. not sure how far i can push the nb.

Have tested the memory, and it didnt show any errors.

That memory is great I've had it at 930 4-4-4-12 and 1000 at 5-5-5-15, though I dont need it that high so I just have it at 800 :D

Will have to try again later see how I get on, but when ever I try to put a manual voltage in for the memory I get a memory dump, if I leave it at auto, its fine for a while if i've oc'ed my CPU, until it raises the voltage too high automatically and crashes

Is it better to have 2 x 2Gb or doesnt it really make a difference
