Hi guys,
So I built a gaming pc a few years ago but its functionality shifted and I’m now using it for writing/typing documents, researching and watching videos. I still use it for gaming but limited to about 30% to 40ish% of the time. I have an Ok 27inch Samsung CF591 but now that the system is starting to show its age, I want to start upgrading the system starting with the monitor. I’ll be upgrading my rx580 to a 5700 in the summer. I lean towards fps games but like some rpgs too
I was deciding between the AOC Q27G2U or the MSI Optix MAG272QR Both come in around €330 or £300 but now I’m wondering should I be considering factors other than refresh rate, input lag etc for what I do?
I would like to get a good length of time out of my next monitor hence upgrading it to 2k and 144hz and stick ith 27inch. I could spend a bit more but not as much to bring me to the GL850 level unfortunately.
Any reasons why I should pick either of these monitors over the other or whether there are other better options for what I do?
Cheers
