Thats impressive V3g3tto I did wonder about upping volts to 1.4v and getting 3.6ghz but I am thinking, How long would it last at those volts & temps

Perhaps if I give the AS5 a few more weeks to settle in at this speed, I may give 3.6 another go and then that will be it ;)

Just a guideline, with your cooler, that chip is safe upto 1.5v for everyday use as long as temps don't get madly high above 70c under stress testing.

1.4v will not even slightly damage the chip, at all, would jsut add a little more heat, so if you want to push it more, you can.

Oh as to the arctic silver, takes about 200-300hrs to fully bed in i believe, though do give it time to cool down and set between heavy sessions, not days on constantly at a time.

ok then I will leave alone for the next week and then try and get 3.6 by upping volts to 1.4v :p then I will give 1 more final update if successful !!...feels a bit like a Status Quo tour :D
