I was tweaking my OC last night, trying to find the lowest voltage for my 4.6OC (sig rig).

I now have it nice and stable: 4.6 with 1.285v and temps maxing at about 85c during a stress test.

During my experimentation with different voltages, I got the blue screen when Windows was loading several times and on some occasions crashing in Windows. Aside from the usual stress testing in Prime, I also kept an eye on the Windows system/error logs to see if any processes were failing or errors being generated, I would often notice errors generated here before Prime actually crashed - Anyway, now all is stable, no crashes or errors being generated.

However, would the crashing etc during my trials have upset anything in my Windows installation or corrupt any files? Would it be worth clean installing Windows now that all is stable? Everything seems fine though.

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thanks

You'll probably be OK. Windows is a lot more resilient nowadays than it used to be so unless it died whilst installing updates its fairly unlikely to have corrupted anything.
