My i5 keeps failing one core in the Prime95 test, Can anyone help me with this?

Motherboard MSI H55-GD65
Core i5 750
4gb unbranded Ram

Corsair H50 watercooler with a Viper fan
Coolermaster HAF case

Should I just use the OC genie?

Cheers, try increasing the memory voltage to 1.65v ~ and increase the vcore on the CPU a notch.

This would indicate that heat is causing the issue OR that the chip is just not up to running at 4ghz stable.

I Had an 920 that wouldnt run stable at anything above 3.8ghz even with up to 1.45v thrown into it. I now have a 920 that happily sits stable at 4.6-4.7ghz with as little as 1.32V going through it.

I suggest that (if you motherboard allows it) you run a different am through your cpu.. + 800ma should do the trick...

Trading off a little on the rams timings and setting to T2 rather than T1 may also help a little. One las thing to look at... Whats the system clock running at and is there a way of lowering this to a lowe value?

Heat shouldnt be an issue with a H50 Watercooler, I can't find how to increase the +800ma

Should I just use the OC genie and let it all do things stably and automatically? I think it caps out at 3.8ghz

I personally don't trust any software readings for voltage, HW Monitor shows mine at stupid values, only way is to use a multimeter.
