OC "Titan" systems advice...

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a ready-built system and some of the OC ones look like they might suit. I'm a (very) casual gamer, and my current system is so out of date its not worth giving you the spec! The system would be used more for video editing and fractals / 3D graphic rendering than games, but I'd like to be able to play a couple of FPS at a good res and framerate.

I know the Quad won't be much extra use for games but will give me great results for video/graphics, so I'm looking at the Titan Thunder GT vs the Titan Accelerator 4850

Thunder:
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 3.3GHz, Abit IP35 Pro Motherboard, Corsair 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400C4 RAM, GeForce 8800 GT 512MB, Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB Hard Drive, Corsair TX 650W Power Supply

Accelerator:
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 3.30GHz, Asus P5Q Intel P45 Motherboard, Corsair 4GB 6400C5 RAM, HIS ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3, Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB Hard Drive, LG Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Rom

Now due to my budget I'm going to get a monitor first this month, and the question is do I get a 22" and the Accelerator, or a 24" and the Thunder - or is it worth pushing the boat out and getting the 24" and the Accelerator? Would I get to use the full 1920, or am I better off shooting for better FPS at 1680?

Advice?

cheers

The 8800GT on a 24" monitor would struggle in some newer games at that res. But your overall desktop experience will be worth it!

surreal add me to MSN if you use it, me and Smirnoff are currently working on a machine that might be right up your street.

It is currently in testing stages so the earliest I would be willing to ship one out would be Monday but I am more than happy to give you a sneak peak at the possible spec. ;)

Out of the two systems listed the Accelerator is by far the newer system. :)
