Am getting the V12 OC kit to put in my HAF X.
Currently have a Noctua NH-D14 cooling an i7-920 @ 3.8Ghz. OC'ing my CPU anymore doesn't effect game performance from my own testing anyway.
I get around 55 deg. C max during games
I've also got a Gigabyte Windforce 7970 @ 1100/1500 that gets to around 65 deg. C with 45% fan max during games....probably Sniper Elite V2 or Metro 2033 is the best for loading...am not worried about synthetic loads like FurMark.
I'm not too concerned with reducing noise but fancy watercooling just as a geek project and maybe OC'ing my GPU a bit more. My PC is stuck under a table anyway so looks isn't an issue either.
For the cost of watercooling I could fit another 7970 and get loads more performance but then I'd be back to crossfire glitch issues I had with my old 6950s I reckon.
Anyway, would I need a 120/240 rad as well to go with the 360 that comes with the V12 kit for a 7970 GPU block?
