Every now and again when watching YouTube if I scroll down or even when just watching YouTube vids.. I get a few large black squares flashing up very quickly then disappearing. It happens so quick it is difficult to tell much about it. Can happen when on Facebook too, usually when there are videos being played
It is similar to this video I saw on YouTube, but nowhere near as long lasting as this... but the squares seem much bigger than this..

Possibly a bad DP cable ?

not sure if i'm allowed to link to reddit here, but seems a problem other people have too with the 30x cards.. mainly when viewing vids in browser

Thanks

Are you overclocking the graphics card ?

If no, have you checked for bios updates for the card, it maybe something they are aware of and have fixed.

If yes, simply artifacts, remove the overclock, it can also be caused by other components being overclocked, ive had all sorts of strange things happen with not fully stable overclocks on CPU and RAM, from artifacts to crackling audio.

No overclock on the GPU.
However, the 5800X3D has KomboStrike enabled ( -30 Offset on all cores ) via the BIOS.. maybe this has something to do with it?

Yes it could do, if it's not capable of a negative 30 offset, give it a try, I know not all of them do -30, try -20 which is generally the worst 5800X3Ds and if that's fine, try -25.
