OCCT

Hello fam...

I wonder if somebody may of encountered what I have. The software that goes by the name of "OCCT" I haven't loaded it up now for a good few weeks. This afternoon I opened it up. or attempted too. it seems to be stuck at the splash screen/Splash form. To which there are two men hammering down on opposite sides. And it states underneath "Initializing System Information Engine" It refuses to further onward from that point. I have uninstalled the program then re-installed it. But still no farther

From what I can remember OCCT can be quite fickle if you have other system monitoring software running whilst you load it up. Got anything else in the background?

I did have Real Temp loaded, as well. but at this very minute tried to open OCCT with nothing else running in the back, but with no prevail

you could try uninstalling it using revo-uninstaller, has helped me in some other cases

I had the same issue, uninstalled and downloaded the latest release 4.4.0 and it worked fine.

The release before 4.4.0 was working fine. It opened and it did what it was suppose to do, with no faults what's so ever. I would say the best part of two months was the last time that I used it. I did download 4.4.0 but it is also acting up the same way, as well.

This is virtually a new system with a few games installed, whether that had something to do with it? I can't say for sure.

Two days ago I jumped on the 327.49 bandwagon, and ever since updating the drivers this has resolved the issue.
