OCD, what's yours?

Mines pretty mental and annoying.

best way to explain it would be: If i click my fingers with my left hand I then have to do it with my right hand. Then I have to do it with my right hand first then my left hand. But because I started with my left I then have to do it with my right first.

I went through a phase of doing that when I was younger: if I did something with my left hand, I had to do it with my right hand as well. It got pretty wearing.

I also can't leave digital volume readouts on odd numbers. That one seems really common.

- Cant do a number 2 in public or at home if anyone is upstairs

Nervous poo'ers are funny.

In our student flat we used to strike up conversation near the toilet when we knew a mental person was in the bog, or tell them "we're timing you" when we knew they were off to do their business. :p

Every time I walk past my front door I push it to check its shut even though I can clearly see its shut.... :/

I hate people touching my stuff if I don't know them or deem them to not look after their own property to a high enough standard.

Not really OCD but walking behind someone who is literally in the middle of a narrowish footpath, they are walking slowly and carrying bags / umberella and whatever else to make it difficult to get past really annoys the heck out of me.

I need to walk back round the house from the drive and check I've locked the front door.

I run back upstairs, often twice to check I've switched all the plugs off.

I worry on my way to work incase I've not turned the gas on the cooker off.

Everytime we're out I'll say "did I lock the car" when I've never left it unlocked. The GF is sick of it.

:(

im pretty much the same :o

I have to check my front door is locked before I go to bed, even if I have literally just got home and know I locked it behind me.

It has got to the point where I do this little 'jig' with the door handle when I pull the door and turn the handle to make sure it wont open lol. Weird :)

I check my door about 15 times before i go to bed..

I used to have that one. I would also take about 1 hour to make my bed the next day so that there we no creces.

I also only like even numbers unless it's in multiples of 5.

Also have to have everything as symmetrical as it can be.

I put tissues on nearly everything I touch and never even sit on my own toilet seat without paper.

Won't go anywhere in the house with just my socks on unless it's in my room.

All my bathroom stuff is lined up in height or in order of use.

Loads more where that came from..

It's common practice to leave them, Others read them afterwards! Strange random lady!

THANK YOU!

I also mentioned that people clean the trains when it arrives at the destination and in this climate people need to be kept in their jobs... so I am helping them.

I will inevitably bump into her again... I will use your quote for ammunition ;)
