I had a heat pump fitted a couple of months ago, cosy 9, all working well, I now have solar panels and 10 kv battery going in a couple of weeks, I've been looking at tarrifs and find that Octopus are more expensive than a lot of the overs, has anyone with a heat pump switched suppliers if so what did they use for a app to control solar and the heat pump? secondly who did you switch too and did you have any problems ?

Similar position, solar/battery/heat pump. I’m on agile at the moment, battery automatically chooses when to charge/discharge depending on the rate. Heat pump is primarily off at the moment besides hot water which isn’t using a huge sum.
When solar takes a dive and agile costs start creeping back up I’ll switch to cosy, which nets three periods of cheaper electricity, so battery charges in those periods and then feeds the house/heat pump outside of those.
Interested to know what the alternatives are and if they work any better. Mine is a daikin rather than the cosy itself, have you got octopus controlling it or your own set up?

EDF have Free Phase that has actually paid customer to use energy recently, iirc you get notified several days in advance of when the tariff will be lowest/highest so you can plan battery charging and usage around it..

You can continue to control your cost heat pump in the octopus app as you do now if you switch to another provider for energy.
