Evening All,

I brought the below from here OCUK back in 2008

I was wondering if there anything I could do to bring it up to date?

I would like to look at adding more memory and also upgrading the video card but unsure what to look for really , the reason I want to upgrade is I was looking at getting in to a new game “Wolfenstein” but my pc is not up to it.

So if you could point me to what I could buy that would be great, Thanks

Hi There,

I was only looking at £300 max as I only really wanted to up the memory & video. but im open to any suggestions.

thanks

You're gonna need a new CPU, GPU and at least 4GB of RAM.

Dual core Athlon is not going to cut it I'm afraid. You might be able to bag a phenom II x4 and clock that and it would probably be OK when combined with 4GB of RAM and something like a R9 270 GPU.

Not what I wanted to here guys but thanks for your input.

so looks like I might have to have a browse through the ocuk shop.

Thanks
