Hi guys,

Just got my second OCuK monitor to dual screen them, figured get same monitor and it will all match up no problems...how wrong i was. Not only does the new monitor have a far better looking display (seems a lot brighter) but it is tilted downwards which as these are already low and no height adjust its not really useable.

Is it possible to altar the stand at all to be able to tilt the screen back to match normal one? Also could anyone tell me if the panel in second is any good and is defo a VA as i cant find the list with them on: SA-LTM240M2-L01

If i cant altar the tilt ont he stand will i be able to get a replacement as the monitor surely shouldnt be looking down?

Please resize the image, it's far too big mate.

Realised it does infact tilt so no biggie lol, that was damned stiff thought would break it. Only problem now is how dim my old one looks now, gonna swap monitors over but would be nice to get it as bright as the other one. I checked the settings on menu and both identical.

hi
my son had this problem with two asus 19 screens one was brighter than the other,if he swapped them round the one that ws bright was now darker so maybe its not the screens but a driver issue some where ,he now has the 24 ocuk one which he is very happy with ,hope you get it sorted .

i had a SA-LTM240M2-L01 but it was broken and keep going off randomy and had backlight bleed.

but it was a brighter then my current AUO one.. i messed about with settings a bit (pain in ass as they don't seem to work correctly) and got it bit brighter but its still not as good as SA one.

Sounds like possibly the cable but i swapped cables and same monitor is still darker. The thing is i am SURE it used to be mad bright and really crispy whites cuz i used to comment on it when i first got the screen.

Had trouble with it randomly switching off in past etc and wondering if its broken somehow :/

I bought 2x DELL 2007WFP at the same time, and they do not look exactly the same. Each panel is different. You can tweak the settings to get them very close but dont expect to get them perfect. I personally use one monitor for a set few apps, and another for other apps. Although surfing has never bothered me using both at the same time.

Well i use the bright one as my main one now and the other is secondary but its not the fact colors arent exactly the same, its just how bad the old one looks now that i am seeing it next to the new one. Am almost certain old one had BRIGHT WHITE whites etc yet now i cant get white at all, only a greyish/blue colour.

Here are the screens with plain white background, get my point? :(

That's very odd. If you've already exhuasted all the OSD settings the only way to really find out if they could output identical images is proper calibration. Otherwise if it has gotten that dark at the same settings over the course of a month i would say something is drastically up with it!

Well they both have the same osd settings it seems so i havent really messed with them. What would i adjust to get a whiter white? i figured rbg all need to be the exact same setting so all at 50 etc otherwise how could it be white?

Brightness just makes it even more grey/blue.
